Built by GPs,
for GPs
MHX Recruit was co-developed with Dr Lucy Randall, a UK GP who moved to Brisbane and experienced first-hand the challenges of international medical relocation.
After navigating the complex AHPRA registration process, visa applications, and job searches largely on their own, they knew there had to be a better way for other GPs considering the same journey.
Today, our team engage with healthcare professionals, relocation specialists, and registration experts to help UK & Ireland GPs make successful transitions to Australia—transforming not just careers, but lives.

With over 20+ years experience in the provision of healthcare services together with medical recruitment, Lucy and Mo set up MHX Recruit with the founding principle of Making Human conneXions
Dr Lucy Randall
MBCHB BSC FRACGP
Dr Lucy Randall worked as a GP in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, before relocating to Australia in 2013 and becoming an Australian Citizen in 2020 . She has worked in General Practice and as a hospital GPwSI and is now Director of 3 medical centres in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast while continuing to work clinically as a GP.
Lucy's other roles include:
- Approved supervisor of GPs (AHPRA), GP registrars and medical students (University of Queensland)
- Board member of the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine
- GP Facilitator for professional training with the Black Dog Institute
- GP Advisor to the General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration
Mo Hussain
LLB (Hons), MSc Healthcare Leadership
Mo is an experienced executive leader with a strong track record of helping organisations build high-performing teams, develop talent and navigate complex workforce challenges. Mo has over 20 years experience of working in the NHS, and having led the UKs second largest hospital (£2.4bn turnover, 26,000 employees) as a Board member, he feels that he has a deep understanding of what makes great people, strong cultures and successful organisations.
Known for being people-focused, honest and strategic, Mo is passionate about connecting the right talent with the right opportunities and helping organisations grow through their people.
